The lens-fitting process
Before being mounted on your glasses frame, your lenses are measured, centered, and then cut to the shape of your frame’s rim.
In some cases, they’re also polished afterward.

- Tracing: The lens will take on the same shape as the frame it goes into, since a device records the shape of the frame.
- Grinding: The lens is cut to the appropriate shape.
- Fitting: The final step ensures your glasses fit properly to your face.
