TALLA EYEWEAR, a men's collection of optical and sunglasses, designed and imagined by Gianluca Gualandi. In Bologna, everyone calls him TALLA. An optician since 1987, Gianluca Gualandi created and grew two optical shops between 1989 and 2005. In 2000, he opened a small niche concept store for eyewear and accessories. It was the start of discovering a whole new world! In 2004, at the Paris Optical Fair, he met Caroline Abram, creator of accessories for the Filao brand, and in 2006 he moved to Paris for love. Since 2008, he has collaborated on the creation and development of the Caroline Abram eyewear brand, a collection dedicated entirely to women. In September 2016, he unveiled his own project, TALLA EYEWEAR, dedicated entirely to men. In his collections, he champions discretion in everything. "I think of eyewear as the ultimate accessory of masculine elegance." Curious about art, he loves design and fashion, but his great passion is cooking. "Cooking frees and enriches my imagination — plating a dish is like creating a small work of art." Thanks to his mother, a seamstress in haute couture, he learned the meaning of precision and attention to detail. Pocket squares tucked into jacket pockets and cases designed like a snuff box complete the TALLA EYEWEAR universe.

An optician since 1987, Gianluca Gualandi created and grew two optical shops between 1989 and 2005. In 2000, he opened a small niche concept store for eyewear and accessories. It was the start of discovering a whole new world!
