  • Frame and lens replacement available (including a prescription change) for 2 years.
  • Includes anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings.
  • Total cost of $300, fully reimbursed by the RAMQ (once every 2 years), meaning the final cost is $0. The price shown is for a frame with a basic prescription.

Thanks to the government program "Mieux voir pour réussir" (Seeing Better to Succeed), our optical store, through this special offer, provides children with a pair of glasses fitted to their vision every year. This initiative lets us offer this package in line with our philosophy: making good vision accessible to everyone! This way, we can make sure every child in Quebec has access to a pair of glasses, every year, regardless of their needs, social background or living situation.

Interesting facts about the package:

  • The program took effect on September 1, 2019. Only purchases made after that date from a merchant in Quebec are eligible, except for eye exams, which may have been performed before that date.
  • The government program offers a $300 reimbursement every two years for glasses or contact lens purchases for those under 18.
  • The reimbursement only applies to glasses or contact lenses prescribed by a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist to correct vision.
  • An estimated 145,000 children will need glasses or contact lenses each year, according to preliminary estimates.
  • An online service, accessible through the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec, will make it easier to get reimbursed, with the possibility of receiving a cheque within a maximum of three weeks after submitting the request.
